Ascom Americas,a healthcare IT and clinical collaboration company, today announced that it is expanding its relationship with Newtech Systems to bring Ascom’s complete portfolio of clinical workflow solutions to hospitals in northeastern Ohio and northwestern Pennsylvania. This agreement extends Newtech Systems’ territory from eastern Kentucky, southern Ohio, West Virginia, and southwestern Pennsylvania, giving Newtech Systems access to 154 additional hospitals and more than 17,000 beds. Newtech Systems sells Ascom’s end-to-end portfolio, which offers healthcare customers solutions for nurse call with intelligent alarming, medical device integration, and mobile handsets.
“This extension of our partnership demonstrates how our two companies are helping hospitals reach the goals of the Quadruple Aim by leveraging technology workflow solutions,” said Susan Griffey, regional sales director, Ascom Americas. “Workflow technology can help hospitals meet the challenges of handling more and sicker patients with fewer nurses, becoming a standard of care in acute care settings beyond deployment in the ICU.”
